Limited access, by design.

ContinuKey is engineered to help you reach designated emergency contacts and essential notes from an unfamiliar device, without turning an emergency card into full account access.

Controlled Beta Status: Core preparation and emergency recovery flows are active for testing in our sandbox environment. Account passkeys, Argon2id passphrases, wrapped DEKs, and emergency redemption sessions are fully functional.
01 / PREPARATION

Choose what belongs here.

Store only selected contacts and essential text references. You decide which details are helpful when your phone is unavailable.

02 / TWO FACTORS

A card and a separate phrase.

Recovery combines a physical single-use card with a memorized emergency passphrase. Neither factor alone can decrypt your emergency data.

03 / SHORT ACCESS

Read only, then end.

A verified recovery grants a 30-minute, read-only session for essential information. Account settings, encryption keys, and billing remain excluded.

What this first version is designed to leave out.

ContinuKey is strictly an emergency continuity system, not a device backup or general password manager. The following data is never stored:

Work completed and work ahead.

The system features authenticated AES-256-GCM envelope encryption, Argon2id passphrase verification, single-use recovery credential verifiers, and automated security test suites. We are currently testing and hardening these flows in a Controlled Beta Sandbox before opening production registration.

What does a borrowed device change?

Will my information stay on the borrowed browser?

The planned recovery app will use no-store responses and avoid saving secrets in browser storage. A device you do not control can still capture what appears on its screen, so end the session when finished.

Can someone use a found card by itself?

The planned flow also requires the separate emergency passphrase, applies attempt controls, and permits unused cards to be revoked from the normal account. These controls are not active in this preview.
